Japanese Home Garden Hoe

A hoe is one of the foundational gardening tools—its job is to break up the ground and break it up fast.  Crafted in Japan from strong, durable high-carbon steel, this is one of the best we’ve used, and it’s more than capable of handling any serious garden prep or light landscaping work you need to take care of.  A variation on a classic paddle hoe, this one has a larger blade for deeper penetration into the soil. With a sturdy handle made of poplar, it measures 42” end-to-end with an aggressive 11 ½” x 5” blade.  Whether you’re starting a garden or preparing a new mulch bed, this will cut down your prep time considerably.
