Yasuki White Steel Marking & Paring Knife

This Japanese-made knife is a terrific combination of traditional aesthetic sensibilities with high functionality. Crafted by laminating Yasuki white steel (a very high carbon steel that takes an edge beautifully, sharpens easily, and is resistant to chipping) to a more traditional steel. Embossed with a dragon image, it is both visually striking and simple. It will stand out in your collection both visually and functionally. Designed for marking wood surfaces, as the line is much finer than a pencil. It also excels as a skew chisel for smaller applications. Measures ⅝” W and 6 ¼” L overall. Made in Japan.
