Description
This beautiful copper kettle has a nickel lining and a ceramic handle that won't heat up like the rest of the kettle. The main advantage of copper stove top kettles is that they are excellent conductors of heat and allow water to boil in them quickly. This kettle has a maximum capacity of 7.25 cups (just under 2 quarts) and a handle that is held in place with decorative copper rivets. Leave this vintage tea kettle on the stove even when not in use as it makes a gorgeous addition to any kitchen. Now, who wants a mug or cuppa?
Washing instructions: Wash the inside of this vintage copper tea kettle with dish soap. For the outside, gently use a non-abrasive sponge dipped in water and dish soap. If you would like to polish the outside rather than allow a patina to develop, use a commercial cleaner/polish, available at most hardware stores. Do not put it in the dishwasher.
