- How does the quick release work
- You press the steel lever at the top to lower the lift.
- I would like to use the jack to lift an automobile tire up to the mounting lugs on a wheel, but I am concerned that the lifting arm will not have enough surface area to hold the tire. Could you please advise the dimensions of the lifting arm. Thank You
- John, the footprint of the jack is 2 3/8"x 2 3/4". the actual lift part is 1 1/2" x 3/4". The weight capacity is 300lbs but probably not wide enough to lift your tyre. Thank you.
- Great idea! A pair of these could be really useful for many chores! But it's hard to tell what it's made of. Is it perhaps all Stainless Steel, except the handles (they look like plastic.)? And if the handles are plastic, does the upper handle have a metal center core than runs,back to the frame & does the metal "tang" on the lower handle extend deeper into the handle than it appears? (I'm just wondering about if a plastic handle breaks)? (Or maybe those "black" parts aren't plastic at all?)

- Dave, the Jack is 10" high, the footprint is 2 3/4" x 2 3/8' , the lifting capacity is 5 3/4" and can lift up to 300lbs, the unit weighs 1.25lbs. Thank you.
