Historical Bread Slicer

A SERRATED BLADE CUTS THROUGH TOUGH OUTER CRUSTS

This Vintage Bread Slicer is another find from Thiers, France, one of the world's great cutlery centers. The 9-½” carbon steel blade, with razor sharp scallop-serrations, make this knife a go-to for tough slicing tasks, like carving a ham or roast, or cutting through crusty loaves of bread. Can easily slice through hearty sourdough bread, bagels, and large melons. There are two steel pins and a brass rosette on the 4-1/4” Rosewood handle. Hand wash only, no dishwasher. These historical knives were forged decades ago and have slight variations that make each one unique. Vintage, but never used; with proper care, they will last you decades more.
