A very successful hose
"I found the self-extending hose to be such an improvement over my rubber/plastic hoses that I ordered a second one within a week. They are light, so much easier to coil, and perform beautifully. I am not sure how substantial they will be over the years, but I am delighted and have entertained my neighbors with their seemingly magical performance. One caution: I found the nozzle supplied with the hose not to be useful. I like to water my plants with a wand close to the ground to maximize a full soak. The nozzle supplied with the hose comes with a nondetachable adapter. The hose also has a female adapter for one end. Since I wanted to use my watering wand or other nozzles, I attempted to use brass adapters I had purchased from my local hardware store and found their ends were slightly too large for the hose. I ordered brass adapters from Garret Wade and found they did fit. Also, when ordering, work out the engineering challenge of what adapters are needed for any existing hoses, nozzles, and spigots"
