Description

A remarkably simple and effective clamping system. Long (24") threaded rods screw into four corner blocks; the whole assembly is quickly closed up to the frame by sliding the speed nuts along the rods. A quick locking twist applies final pressure. Each corner is relieved with an inside channel to ensure that the mitre fits snugly. Set includes 8 individual 24" rods, 4 extension nuts, 4 tightening nuts, and 4 corners. We also carry additional extension and tightening nuts.

Finally found the right setup

"This is exactly what I needed! I literally bought everything that was supposed to do the same thing on Amazon and all of them sucked. These work perfectly, even if my cuts are a little less than perfect. Great purchase and I'm trying to not purchase 3 more just for convenience."

"Works fine. Allows shorter distance between corners than my Pony 90 degree clamps. I will order another"

Love it!

"First time using this kind of jig to create frames. Love it. Easy, expands large enough. For the price, you can’t go wrong."

Finally, A four corner frame clamp that works!

"Maybe I’m a clutz, But I just can’t get a frame clamped nice and square with the individual corner type. And those ones with the nut in the middle just, well, I just couldn’t. This one lets me get all four pieces lined up perfectly. Then I back off two of the nuts just a smidge. Add glue to my corners. Make any tiny alignment, tweaks, and tighten the nuts again. Very happy. I’m buying a couple more so I can glue up three frames at once. Also - I love that the nuts slide easily until you’re ready to tighten and yet then tighten. In other words, you don’t have to turn turn turn turn turn threading them on. It’s really quite brilliant."

Q&A

How small a frame can be clamped in this tool?
Demaris, 3" X 3" Would be the smallest frame to be clamped
It doesn’t seem to work on frames that are right around the 24-25 inch mark. The extension nuts get in the way of the corner pieces, and prevent the clamp from snugging the frame. Is there any way around this?
Stephen, yes, I found that longer 1/4" rod's work with frames over 24". I bought 4, 36" rod's for a few dollars each at the hardware store. Thank you
Can I buy more of the nuts
Don, I'm working on it will get back in the morning.
Can these clamps be used on a picture frame that is 27" x 20"? It describes it as having rods only 24" long.
James, It comes with a total of 8 rods Max frame 46 x 46 There are connectors to connect (2) 24" rods which will give you your 27" capability. Also as a side note, the rods are 1/4" 20 TPI.
Are there instructions for this? I purchased this clamp set and it didn't come with any, thanks.
There is a link on the website with the instructions. Please scroll down. It's listed in bold print (PdF). Hope this helps.
