These 12" shears feature chromed hardened steel with micro serrations on the 5-3/4" blades. Micro serrations slice through coarse and slippery fabrics with ease, protect the blade from damage, and are always sharp. A wedge on the bottom of the handle stabilizes the blade keeping it level to ensure straight and accurate cuts. The handle is coated with rubber for comfort. Dab a little sewing machine oil on the screw to keep the blade action fluid. A good pair of shears is an essential part of any sewing kit and can make cutting fabric a stress-free experience for both novice tailors and expert seamstresses.
