The watertight brass-plated stainless steel structure allows you to fill it with soil and water without having to put a catch basin underneath. (Note; the brass is lead free.)
Features full-spectrum LED grow lights under the roof housing, for added light and heat. "Received my growhouse a few weeks ago. It’s a nice addition to my planting vessels as it is equipped with lights. I added stones to the bottom of the planter to provide ‘run off’ space for excess water. Stones also retain water and humidify the plants. It’s a gem!"

- Hello. I just bought this and love it! I just got my herbs (got 5 in there) and wanted to ask how long folks leave the light on for herbs? I have read 12-14 hours? Any input for how much light for herbs?
- Barbara, I'm glad you are enjoying the Growhouse. I don't have any specific times for the herbs under the lights. I do know that in natural sunlight , 6 to 8 hours is suggested. Thankyou.
