This pointed shovel is made by a US firm that makes tools exclusively for professionals. The alloy steel blade and handle are carefully heat treated to be exceptionally strong and fully welded. It’s a great “all-rounder”. It’s a very fine tool for the enthusiastic home gardener. Highly recommended.

The All Purpose Shovel is only 25" long overall with a 5" wide, pointed blade and is very useful when working on your knees. The weight of this item is 3 lbs.
All blades and handles are fully welded, with sharpened edges for ease of soil entry; handles are plated or painted for rust protection.

I got this shovel a couple weeks back and absolutely adore it, great with rocks, boring holes into a hillside, and small enough to fit into a large pack. The shovels structure is solid, absolutely love the fact that theres no moving parts, just a solid metal shovel. I use and abuse tools, ive went through 10+ shovels in my 4 years of mining. This shovel has passed my durability, water, and torture tests in the bush. Do not sleep on this shovel. I would gladly purchase tools from Garrett Wade again and will spread word of mouth of this shovel."

"I ordered the small shovel a week ago and shipping was fast! I am a gold prospector and needed a heavy duty industrial shovel thats small. Ive beat my shovels over the years, had some that even fail on day 1. But this shovel is a champ, no moving parts, its one solid piece! Made with a highly tough steel and welded together. The spade is rounded and what I like is I can get into the cracks around bedrock. Im notoriously reckless around my equipment, this shovel held up to my abuse. Highly durable, I give it a 5 star prospecting rating, this shovel is much much more than a garden shovel, its an amazing field shovel to throw in any rig, and you can dig yourself out of any situation with it."
