Introducing Brass-Bound Wood Rules: Timeless Tools for Discerning Woodworkers and Collectors
Step back in time with our Brass-Bound Wood Rules – reminiscent of the classic wooden rules from our early school days, these exude nostalgia and craftsmanship. While not the exact same rules, they evoke the same sense of familiarity and quality.
Crafted with precision and attention to detail, these rules are thicker, making them incredibly easy to scribe lines next to. Whether you're marking lines for cutting, measuring out hole placements, or scaling measurements, these rules provide the accuracy and reliability you need.
Featuring solid brass-bound edges and graduated in 16ths, these rules are a testament to timeless design and enduring quality. Perfect for experienced woodworkers, antique collectors, and carpenters who appreciate the finer things in life.
Elevate your woodworking experience with Brass-Bound Wood Rules – where tradition meets functionality in every measurement. A 12" Rule is available for purchase separately, but you can bundle and save by getting a set of the 6" and 12" rule. This 6" rule also comes included with the Garrett Wade Odd-Job.

"6'' ruler"
"For my son’s work bench !"
"I’d ordered these via a nail-in order and had my check returned with a note that they were discontinued. Very disappointing. However, they were listed in the next catalog so I ordered them via the Internet and they arrived. What gives?"
"The tool is very nice and old timey, yet I think it will be useful in my work. I must say, though that when I called Garret Wade with a question about how to set it up to draw arcs I was told I would be contacted in one to three days. That has not happened, so the tools remain in the box. I also bough the 12"" rule and an extra 6"" rule."
"The Odd-Job arrived at my home. It was well-packaged and it even came with another small ruler! It has substantive weight and the brass-lined rulers will prevent the rulers from warping. I'm extremely pleased with finally taking possession of it. It will get used as often as possible. Thanks again for insuring the order was completed."
"Very good; that’s why I bought two more."
