Antique-Style Round Brass Oil Lantern

Description
Oil lanterns were made to be useful first, and the good ones turned out handsome as well. This round brass and glass lantern follows the 19th-century pattern, and it’s equally at home on the dinner table, out on the porch, or standing by for the next power outage.
A reflective brass shade directs the light downward, gathering it in a warm pool on the table below, bright enough to read by. The flame sits inside a glass bulb, and an adjustable wick lets you turn it up or down. It burns lamp oil or kerosene, and the fuel reservoir is about 3 oz. It is simple to refill and lasts 8 to 9 hours. The wick is replaceable, and a wide base keeps the lantern steady.
The glass and brass get hot during use, so let the lantern cool before refilling it. As with any open flame, keep it where you can see it.
