Description

A versatile and whimsical addition to your home, the unique, European-made Cast Iron "Viking" Hook adds a touch of adventure to your home, whether indoors or out. The multipurpose hook is as burly and tough as the Norse history and myths it evokes, a welcoming home for your heaviest winter coats (or your pelts and wineskins). With three usable hooks, the Viking Hook offers ample space for hanging coats, hats, scarves, or even decorative items. This is no flimsy hook, it can hold a pile of coats or bags without giving it a second thought. Measuring 8" in height, it's compact yet eye-catching and it's definitely a conversation starter.

Made in Poland by a family business with a long tradition of iron casting - it’s built to the same standard as their park benches and streetlights, so it’s sure to stand the test of time. Indoors or out, the Cast iron composition ensures resilience against the elements.

Have yet to hang them

"Have yet to hang them but I'm thoroughly pleased. Getting ornate detail with cast iron isn't easy and these have a decent amount of detail, they are heavy (not overly so) and look great. While it has the 2 hooks, technically in a pinch you could also use the point of the helmet as a 3rd. Given the detail and material used the cost is reasonable as well."

The hook is unique and

"The hook is unique and great-looking; I noted to your team that it was shipped with insufficient protection and suffered some scuffing - the nice lady said she would report this to the shipping dept. We love Garret Wade, have ordered here for years and will continue to do so."

Q&A

Where do I click on the Viking Hook advertised so that I may purchase this item?
Jeanne, the Viking hook sold out quickly over Christmas, unfortunately. We are ordering more and if you are still interested , click on the "Notify me" tab on the webpage. Thank you.
What hardware is required to hang the Viking hook.
Sandra, it depends what you are hanging the hook on. It comes in at a hefty 3lbs . The 2 holes will accept a 3/16" screw and the holes are counter sunk. If its going onto sheetrock finding a stud would be best but good anchors would work too. If it's wood then any 3/16" screws will be fine. Thank you.
What hardware is required for hanging the Viking hook? This will be a gift, and would like to have all the necessary hardware to hang. Thank You.
Celeste, the hook weighs nearly 3 lbs. Quite heavy. 2 3/16" screws will do the trick but it really depends what you will be hanging it on . If it's sheetrock you should hit a stud , if it's wood a 1 1/2" x 3/16" screw will be enough. Thank you.
