Very well made, sturdy

"Compact, sharp, solid construction. Premium priced but worth it since it's likely the last you'll ever need to buy. I like the locking catch, so the edges remain together when not in use and can't get dulled by other objects in drawer or luggage. The spring-loaded plier handles also make it easy to use, better than scissor-grip versions."

"The fingernail trimmer is just what I wanted."

Good But Not Great

"When I bought these I hoped they might equal the quality German clippers I have used for almost fifty years but I guess that was too much to hope for. These are well-made quality clippers but they are not as good as they could be if the blades were even sharper and the entire tool larger. I am small and I have small hands but even for me this is a petite tool that can slip out of my hand easily. My old clippers are almost an inch longer and fit in my hand nicely and the increased length of the handles exert more leverage on the blades. As a former wood carver I know how sharp a good tool can and should be. These are not dull but they are also not very sharp."
