Description

The unique design of this French-made elegant crescent-shaped “Pizza Rocker” delivers a perfectly clean long straight cut across your fresh-from-the-oven pizza without ruining the cheese distribution! (It also excels as a general chopping knife for herbs, veggies and all manner of prep items.) The shape is similar to the Italian crescent blade called a mezzaluna (half-moon). Two comfortably shaped, double-riveted olivewood handles give you a broad, stable grip over the stainless-steel blade. This allows your hands to completely close around the handle for control and maximum downward pressure so you can cleanly cut a 14” pizza in one pass. A distinctive addition to your kitchen arsenal. Measures 17 ¼” L x 4” H. Any cook on your holiday shopping list will be delighted to receive one of these.

Best Way to cut Pizza

"This is a very well made rocking pizza knife. I used the rolling wheel style cutter for years, and I prefer this over those because the rocking motion combined with just a little pressure made cutting much more efficient. It is also a beautiful kitchen tool, so it is nice to have a functional tool that is also display worthy on a knife rack!"

"i waited almost two weeks to receive this items I purchased as a gift and was so ezxoted to receive it. When I did receive it I was very disappointed in the quality. Handle was loose and the blade was not flush with the handle and protruded out! For almost $50 I expected a well crafted pizza knife. Sadly the craftsmanship is lacking."

Hard to store

"Wonderful for slicing pizza! You just need to sell a sheath for the knife!"

bought as gifts so I

"bought as gifts so I cannot speak to the cut or longevity. I expected a little heavier gauge steel for the blade but it should be adequate for the intended use."

Great tool. I just wish

"Great tool. I just wish the folks that made it had taken the time to drill a hole in one handle so I can hang it up. It’s too big for a drawer or other storage option. And it doesn’t come with a stand for counter top storage. I’ll drill the hole myself but it seems like an obvious need."

Very nice

"The family was a little worried when they saw me unwrap it. But it is a very nice knife."

A great addition

"I will be using this a lot for chopped salads and whatever else comes up."

Q&A

Is there a sheath or some kind of cover for the pizza knife blade? I would like to purchase a cover if you have one.
Mary, unfortunately we dont have a cover at present. s Several customers have asked the same thing as you and so we are looking into having one made. Thank you.
Is the length in the description the length of the blade, or length of the handles? What is the length of the blade alone? Does this come with a cover for the blade for storage?
Joe, the blade is 13 1/2"and the handle 17". We don't currently include a cover, but some customers have fashioned their own covers out of 1/2" plastic hose which seems to work well. Thank you.
