Description

If you are tired of spring traps that trip too easily or are repelled by the obvious torture of glue traps, this simple Catcher is for your home. Just drop a piece of cheese (or other favorite tempter) on the wood base, and come back in the morning. Once he has climbed in, the mouse will not be able to climb out. Then if you want to release at a good distance, simply pull the cover off the hole in the side and the mouse can drop out where you want to put him. Nothing could be more humane.

Very effective traps!

"These traps work very well. They will hold several mice. I prefer live trapping; I relocate the little critters to a nearby wooded area. I've had 6 that I have used for a number of years, and just bought 2 more. They do the job!"

First humane trap I've ever tried that works!

"For the first day or so, nothing happened, but on day 2 1/2 or 3, we caught a mouse, and then we caught another one. I had a protected location where I dropped them off (my old lot in the Palisades where trees/shrubs were regrowing, and no other houses around for at least a year), and provided at least a few days' food and water in a plastic cup I cut down to one inch, since I've heard they don't always survive relocation. The second mouse didn't even seem traumatized when he was in the little cage. Much better than dealing with a gruesome bloody body in a spring trap! You just open the little door facing somewhere safe for them to hide, and they run out (took them a minute to figure out the door was open). Don't think it would work for rats, though."

A good product

"I'm very pleased with this product. It's effective at trapping mice without harming them, and it is easy to release them into the woods."

Caught him within an hour!

"Perfect catch! We had a very small mouse that was too light to set off any other traps that we tried. After receiving this, we added the cheese and caught him within an hour! Great product!"

The mice seem to love it! I'm buying more.

"We have a detached laundry room and had a house mouse set up residence in it. We caught her within a few hours. Over the next 5 days, we caught one or two a day until all were captured and ""re-homed"" on the golf course. I read a review before buying it that said, ""it's like they line up to get into it. "" That was absolutely true for us. And they didn't even seem afraid or too concerned. I covered them with a cloth for the car ride to keep them calm."

I bought 2 of these

"I bought 2 of these years and years ago from Real Goods. They were amazing the most successful trap I have ever experienced!! I was so happy to find they were still being made!!"

Fantastic no kill mouse trap 👍

"You guys are awesome👍Long story short my mom had an antique version of this but I couldn’t find it anywhere;( I found this one at Garrett Wade . I put a little bit of peanut butter inside the trap at night and by morning there was a little mouse in there:) I did this a second night and it caught another mouse:) Both times I was able to let the little guys go free in a forest near my house. Hopefully they stay in their new forest home lol:) New Garrett Wade fan always, BeauS."

Nice construction of a mouse trap

"It is indeed a nice construction. No mouse has been alured so far, but I strongly believe that it is effective."

So far I’ve caught three

"So far I’ve caught three of the little monsters but there’s one who must hang from the top to get as many nuts as it can and won’t go all the way in. I’m uncertain how to catch it🧐"

Q&A

What are the dimensions of the mouse trap?
5 x 5 x 3 Inches
What is the promo code?
Kathleen, the latest promo code we had was for labor day and it has expired. Keep an eye out , they pop up occasionally and can be found on our website. Thank you
I used this mouse trap on two occasions and in both cases the mice ate the bait and escaped. Is there anything I may be doing wrong?
That seems strange. The only thing we can think of was the door closed and hooked? Exiting thru to top would likely impaled him.
