"This Japanese hand sickle is one of the handiest garden tools I have. It is great in the fall for cutting any dead flowers. It is much faster than clippers. It is also great for grabbing tall iris or tall grass and just slicing off a hunk at a time. Also much easier than clipping. You will find other uses if this is a tool in your garden supplies. It is sharp so be sure you watch where your hand is holding something so you don’t cut that hand. Well worth the $."

"very sharp, very light weight and works great for what is designed for. it would be nice to have some type of a sheath option so that it would safe when not in use. It's a very sharp serrated tool that could easily cut though a shoe if left on the ground while doing other tasks. I love it, it's not myself but others who work around me and have no idea how VERY sharp it is I'm concerned with. If I had a sheath I could keep it in on my person. I would feel more comfortable and would use it more often. It is a great tool. Keep it safe!"
