Description
Picture it: an overgrown property, choked off by unruly branches, overgrown shrubs, and aggressive vines. It’s nearly impenetrable. Enter the Nata Hatchet, the metaphorical hot knife through butter, slicing through the toughest vegetation—even felling small to medium trees—in record time. Order is restored before you know it.
Combining the very best elements of a machete and a small axe, the Japanese-style Nata Hatchet is the must-have outdoor tool you didn’t know you were missing. It’s been tackling the toughest of jobs in Japan for over 600 years, and it will fit your outdoor arsenal brilliantly.
Ever versatile, the Nata Hatchet can even be used for woodworking, handling rough shaping and carving tasks that might otherwise require a specialty carving axe. It’s precision and control are really something else, and the ergonomic handle and perfect balance make it a pleasure even during extended use. "It feels just a little blade heavy. Like it really wants to come down on the target all on its own. But not so much that it feels out of control."
"Bought it for cutting brown and green coconuts and around the garden to cut small trees. Good weight, it comes with a wooden sheath wrapped with faux leather with snaps to lock in place. and belt loop. Downside it doesn't come sharpen. At its price I would wanted to be razor sharped out of the box. Like it because it is not as expensive or menacing looking like a machete on this site."
"Gave this as a gift, and the recipient liked/likes it. Seems like it's a sturdy, useful little hatchet. The listing doesn't say it, but the one I bought came with a sheath."
"great for small spaces"
