This replica of a 1938 27’ Triple Cockpit Barrel Back boat is a smaller and more affordable model than our other Chris-Craft. Made in a 1/24 scale instead of their more common 1/8 scale. They feature laser-cut balsa and mahogany parts, peel and stick decals, cast deck fittings, a handsome display base with pedestals, and step-by-step instructions to guide builders of any skill level to the completed creation. Measures 13 1/2” L, with a 3 3/4” beam.
Please note that unlike the larger 1/8 scale kits, which can be outfitted with a motor, this is a static boat kit that will look absolutely beautiful when displayed in your home or office.

- Are tools included with the kit or should I purchase something like the tool kit offered through Garret Wade?

- Peter, No we do not. I wasn't aware that Gar Wood boats had any affiliation with Chris Craft other than racing against them. The Gar Wood boats are very rare. I have not seen any models of them. Sorry.
