Description

Our flange-edged iron roasting pan is a perennial favorite with our customers. Manufactured by Netherton Foundry in collaboration with Garrett Wade’s design team, it’s beloved for its durability, versatility, and ease of use. Now we’ve teamed with Netherton once again for a more compact version of this classic, presented here as a matched set of two identical roasting pans. Made to the same exacting specifications as the larger version, it features the same tapered sides, riveted iron handles, and welded corner seams, but in a convenient 9 ½” by 13 ⅜” size that allows you to fit two side by side in a standard oven. With a generous depth of 2 ¾”, this pan will turn out family-size servings of roasts, chilis, casseroles, and more. Comes preseasoned with flax oil for a deep black surface that is naturally nonstick, and will continue to season over time with use. Measures 9 ½” x 13 ⅜” x 2 ¾”. Made in England.

just what I was hoping would come along

"At last, a sturdy roasting pan with a surface like a cast-iron skillet -- once seasoned, it remains rust-free and easy to clean. Tried it once and I'm a fan. I've gotten tired of cleaning stainless steel or enameled pans, and don't like the thinness of most of those. I wish you guys would also sell the food-safe flax oil that the manufacturer recommends for maintenance, since I know from experience that olive oil gets sticky and bacon fat isn't so healthy."
