"Generally the knife felt flimsy as everything was very thin from the release to the casing. The handle felt more like a plastic than any wood which was very disappointing. The high point of the knife was the lovely blade. The blue clip cheapened the look of the whole product. If I hadn't waited so long, it would have gone back. I had ordered it last summer and it was out of stock. Disappointing."

- Hi Wes, It's of Asian origin.
- How much of a "spring assist" is there? I am NOT looking for a switch blade, I want to travel with the knife and don't want to have any legal issues . I'd appreciate any additional info on the opening mechanism. Ed
- Ed, The spring assistance button is just a small tab protruding on the top of the knife and assists to getting the blade slightly opened to get a better grip on the blade to open. It does not assist spring tension. It works like any standard pocket knife

It looks like an expensive upgrade to CRKT’s CEO, but would have to be thin enough (pen like) and light enough to carry in a shirt pocket. The snake wood handle and the Damascus would justify the additional price.
