- Ann, we havent tried it with persimmons. Their stems may be a bit thick for this tool. It works great with apples plums etc . Fruit with small stems. Thankyou.

- What size and thread pitch are the wing nuts on the telescoping fruit picker basket assembly? I'm going to buy a handful from the hardware store as spares. I was so engrossed at picking I didn't notice untill too late that one unscrewed and fell off! By the way, it is a great tool!!!
