Efficient Garden Tool to add to the collection
"This tool is great for cutting weeds and roots out of the crevices in between stepping stones and masonry. The variable handle length is also very useful for being able to get into tight spaces and having different options of torque for the task at hand. Highly recommended adding this to the tool kit."
This is a game changer
"This is a game changer for people with bad backs. You can scrape the weeds out of the edges of your patio or driveway without having to bend over all the time."
Still doing hand weeding
"This tool looked exactly right, and it will be helpful, but unless you have a goodly space between pavers/bricks, hand weeding will still be needed. This tool helps but isn't 💯 %"
This too; works really well.
"This too; works really well. I like the different lenghts."
Does a fantastic job getting
"Does a fantastic job getting rid of the weeds that grow in between the patio pavers. Love it."
Gave this to the wife
"Gave this to the wife for Mother’s Day. She calls it the sythe weeded. Went out and ripped some weeds from the brick patio."
Telescoping Weeder
"Easy to use and very sharp blade makes cutting the weeds very easy. The telescoping handle is wonderful to adjust to various heights. Just another wonderful product from Garrett Wade!"
Telescoping Weeder
"This weeder saves you from getting down in your driveway after those pesky weeds. I find it easier to remove the weeds if I kill them first. I use the vinegar/salt/dishsoap recipe on a sunny day. This makes it so much easier. A younger, stronger person could probably just use the weeder but being 85 I am not as strong as I used to be!"
Problem with telescoping weeder.
"Wonderful tool for working the crevices in an overgrown flat stone patio. My only complaint would be that the twisting knob to lock it into extended mode did not work properly. I was unable with keep the tool fully extended, resulting in a tad too much bending to use it easily - bit too much effort involved for a 76yo male!"

Q&A
- I'm concerned about this pulling dirt from between the cracks, and not just the weeds. Is this able to remove only the weeds? Also, does it pull the weeds out by the root, or simply cut them?
- It has a sharp blade with a hook on the tip which is designed to cut through the dirt and grab the root. Some dirt will be pulled up with the root.
- Are additional blades available for purchase?
- Hello Heide, unfortunately additional blades are not available for purchase at this time.
- How does the telescope open from 32” to 49”. The pavement weeder
- Pasquale, There is a twist lock that allows the handle to telescope.
- Is the blade sharp on the top and inside areas so that you can push and cut or pull and cut weeds?
- Yes it is. It’s sharp on the inside and outside of the blade.
- How thick is the blade? I have thin gaps I need it to fit through
- We are sorry, but we are out of stock on that, it is expected to arrive later this week so I cannot give exact thickness at this time. However I have used the product and feel safe in saying the blade tip is less than 1/8". If you need exact, we will email you the exact thickness when the product arrives.
