Wooden Drum Toy

Keeping kids occupied, especially with things other than screen-based activity, can sometimes be a challenge. Making music, whether solo or with others, is a great way to engage them and spark creative play. This lovely Miniature Wooden Drum is designed to delight younger children with its colorful appearance and friendly rounded shape. The smooth wooden surface is divided into curved sections; however, this is not just for decorative purposes: each section produces a different tone when struck with the included mallet. This gives it a much more musical sound than typical kids’ drums, as well as a pleasing acoustic tone because of the wood (as opposed to hard plastic drum surfaces). Kids will love to play around with different combinations of tones, and can even make up simple tunes. Recommended for ages 3 and up. Measures 8” x 8” x 5”.
