"These are well made items. They make trimming of tough toenails much easier. I find I like the shape of the toenail clipper better for fingernails than the one that is marketed as a fingernail clipper. With these tools it's easy to even trim just part of a nail without leaving a rough edge. The cuticle trimmer can be used to trim a nag nail and I suspect might be handy of working the edge of an ingrown nail. The only minus would be the locks on the two nail trimmers take a little extra effort to get properly aligned when relocking them. Perhaps the locking will become easier as I've had more time to work with them. They do lock and it's a minor issue but don't expect to just bring the handles together and flip down the latch and have it engage. I have several different brands of nail clippers of a design similar to the fingernail clippers that I bought locally but they are no way near as sharp and with those clippers toenails would sometimes end up doing more of a rough rip than the clean cut these give and these don't require any where near as much pressure on the handles to get a clean cut. So long as these hold their edge I'm considering them a good investment. Both the toenail and cuticle trimmers can work well to trip loose skin just be careful not to go too deep as these are very sharp and can cut you if used for that purpose."
