Large Naval Oil Lamp

Naval lamps were built for ships where the deck is always pitching. With a low, weighted, rounded base that keeps the flame upright when the ship rolls. our smaller Naval lamp has done so well we’ve added this larger size: 4-½" wide by 6-5/8” tall, against the original 4-¾" high version. The base is copper and brass, weighted and rounded at the bottom, so a bump rocks it but doesn’t knock it over. An adjustable wick lets you turn the flame up or down. Fill up to 8 oz (240ml) of standard lamp oil for a clean, white light. It gives off a warm light, better suited to a mantel or a dinner table than to read by. It is also a sensible thing to have on hand for the next power outage. As with any open flame, when lit, keep it where you can see it. Replacement wicks are sold separately.
