"Useful, sharp-easy to use."
Very useful. I was struggling
"Very useful. I was struggling trying to cut through a fish skin with a good quality knife. The scissors went through without any difficulty. But be careful how you hold them. I almost pinch myself (not with the blades but with the « holding part »). Always practical to have around in kitchen. Elegant."

"No instructions for use and care. I received only the scissors in its box. All writing on box was in Japanese. Nothing in English. When I called Garret Wade I was told that’s how they come, “sorry!” Sorry??? You promote a product and say sorry? That’s unacceptable. This is my second review. Did you not read my first one? I requested to be removed from your contacts list weeks ago and still get your ads. What does it take??"

"The scissors are a surprise . I would not expect such straight angular form feel so friendly in my hand. And the functioning of it not any less smooth. Super pleasing well designed and great functioning tool. When I think about using it so often and each time appreciating it, I know it was worth to buy it."
Great Shears
"I’ve bought two pairs as we like them so much. Easy to use and easy to clean. Highly recommend."
Not super smooth
"Unfortunately, this scissors has the same problem as the one I previously returned, although not quite as bad. Like the first scissors, it binds at the join and shows scoring on one side of the join. It also resists opening a little bit, which will make the hand tired after awhile."
Fantastic Scissors!

Wonderful!
"They don't look like ordinary scissors but are easy to use and as sharp as the proverbial razors. I use them all the time and live them. Thanks for selling them!"

Q&A
- What material are these scissors made from and although they are ‘ Crafted in Japan’ where are they actually manufactured? Thank you
- Hello Michelle, the entire manufacturing process takes place in Japan as well, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and precision.
- Can these scissors be resharpened?
- Jim, the scissors can be sharpened. I use our carbide sharpener item no.63C01.01 or for a less expensive alternative , our miracle sharpener 35N01.07. Thank you
- Do the blades stay tight to each other when they are opened widely? The other stainless kitchen shears you sell are good and sturdy, but when you open them the blades do not stay tight to each other so they don't cut very well.
- Daniel, I've just checked a pair of the Japanese scissors and there is not a gap between the blades. Thank you
