"I needed a hand brace to drill holes in a very delicate situation. I began investigating the available braces on the market and realized very quickly the options were limited. I picked this one because of the positive reviews. I was able to drill the needed holes without damaging the frame of an antique chair. Didn’t work right out of the box.
"I really like the look and materials but both ratchet pawls didn’t fully seat and would click over with a little torque. I had to use a punch and seat the pawl in each socket for it to even be usable as a brace."
