The Heavy-Duty Jumbo Pole Saw & Pruner has a 2” cutting capacity, with 20x force. It is great for cutting green wood as well as hard dry wood, but because of its anvil design, it excels at the latter. The secret is that using the 20X mechanical advantage pulley and gear combination, the blade rises vertically to cut, instead of pivoting – thus avoiding any twisting. This X.H.D. tool also includes a 14" high-carbon 6tpi stainless steel saw blade that attaches to the end of the pole.
It extends from 4 to 8 ft. in length, using an exclusive snap-lock (not the usual twist-lock) system. This tool excels in construction and thoughtful design. The Arborist Large Pruning Saw with its molded handle that even a very large hand would feel comfortable working with and it's 20" long fast-cutting saw blade will speedily take care of very large branches. For its size and performance, this arborist’s saw is an exceptional value.

"Great quality tools. Sharp blades. Do not waste your money at big box stores as they sell Fiskars junk that does not perform. That said, take good care of these tools and they will serve you for a long time. For example, put WD-40 on the extending handle after use so it will open the next time you use it. The saw blades are extremely sharp so be careful not to cut yourself. I am a Tennessee master gardener and have been using garden tools for 5 decades. These are well worth the money!"
