The term "luck of the dice" is a little misleading. While it helps to have a hot hand when playing dice (or dominoes), there is an element of strategy needed, and playing regularly develops tactical thinking, an understanding of probability, and the ability to make split-second decisions. These timeless games are fun, keep the brain sharp, and like a deck of cards, there are dozens, if not hundreds, of variations & distinctly different games that you can play. Every household, apartment, weekend cabin, beach house, and lakeside bungalow should have one of these available.
