Antique Pancake 6-Lever Lock
Fully Functional from the 1900-1930\u2019s
We were able to find a very limited number of these amazingly beautiful 6-Lever Pancake Locks on a recent trip road trip down south. These are beautiful, working tools, great to have around as a conversation piece, a vintage desktop tchotchke, or even for locking up small items in style (we don’t recommend using these for valuables, as they aren’t high-security by today’s standards). We are offering these all with their original (or working) keys.
These round 6-Lever Push Key padlocks that were made by various manufacturers from 1900 to 1930. The mechanism inside are levers. Each lever inside the lock is pushed up by the notches on the end of the flat key. This key does not rotate but is pushed into the narrow slot at the bottom edge of the padlock. Pushing the key all the way in and the shackle pops up. A great piece of engineering!
Note: when you order one of these locks, what you receive will be like a surprise grab-bag. While you can’t pick the exact lock, it will be authentic, and we promise one of a kind. Image shown above shows examples of locks that are sold. Locks are sold individually, not as a set. We have very limited quantities, once these are gone, we can’t guarantee we will get more.
