This lovely Miniature Wooden Drum is designed to delight younger children with its colorful appearance and friendly rounded shape. The smooth wooden surface is divided into curved sections; however, this is not just for decorative purposes: each section produces a different tone when struck with the included mallet. This gives it a much more musical sound than typical kids’ drums, as well as a pleasing acoustic tone because of the wood (as opposed to hard plastic drum surfaces).
