This is from one of our favorite, multi-generational French knife makers. The attention to detail, craftsmanship, and materials are stunning. This fits the blade profile of the traditional Laguiole knife, an iconic French style. (Baroudeur means hiker or backpacker).
This beauty has black powder-coated, no-rust aluminum scales and a sharp stainless steel blade. The details are exquisite: there's a bottle opener on the spine, serrations along a part of the blade and a string-cutter in the middle of the handle. This knife features a liner-locks style for blade safety and a key for tightening the axis. The blade is 3-½" long, and overall 8-½" when open. A gorgeous example of a traditional French style, the Baroudeur knife is sure to provoke admiring glances.
