French Walnut Pocket Knife
These knives drew their design inspiration from in part from the canals of Venice. Hand crafted in France by a family with a rich history in the cutlery world, they're equally at home in a display case or a picnic basket with a sumptuous selection of fruits and cheeses. The matching flare of the blade and handle create a profile unlike any we've seen in a knife like this, and the knife looks as exceptional open as it does closed. The natural handle is available in either an exquisite walnut or more ornate spotted mother birch, and the blade is Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, frequently used for razor blades and surgical scalpels. It gets incredibly sharp. The knife measures 4-1/2" folded and just over 7-3/4" open. Compact and portable, it feels good in the hand, and the tension close mechanism is firm and secure. An included custom leather sheath is specifically shaped to fit the knife's unique profile. We recommend rinsing the blade with clear water after use and wiping it dry. Occasional lubrication of the blade and closing mechanism will ensure smooth operation and a long life.
