Geared Lug Nut Remover
WILL LOOSEN TIGHT OR RUSTED LUG NUTS. Torque-multiplying, 15:1 geared ratio loosens the most stubborn lug nuts
Fixing a flat is usually a pretty straightforward (if annoying) process, but older lug nuts can rust or corrode in place, making it extremely difficult to loosen with the standard jack and wrench kit in most cars. That’s where this terrific lug nut torque wrench comes in. Its torque-multiplying, 15:1 geared turning ratio loosens the most stubborn lug nuts. It’s as if you suddenly became fifteen times stronger. 3 standard sized sockets (21, 19, & 17mm) are included, which will work with most vehicles, but the drive will accept any other compatible ½” socket. Made from chromed steel.
Using it is easy and intuitive. Just attach the crank handle and correct sized socket to the planetary gear hub, slip the socket onto the stuck nut, then slide the other fixed socket over the closest nearby nut for a stable bracing position. Cranking feels so easy it’s almost hard to believe it’s working, but work it does. Once loosened, just unscrew by hand or with a regular wrench. The included hard molded carrying case will keep it all protected and at hand in your car or truck.
