US GI Right Angle Army Flashlight
The familiar design of this military issue Army Flashlight has remained essentially unchanged since its introduction during WWII. The heat- and corrosion- resistant hard plastic case comes in olive drab and has a black oxide Brass three-way switch on the side with three settings: On, Off, and Signal. In Signal mode, a small button above the switch activates the PR6 bulb when communicating via Morse code. Fully waterproof, it uses two D-cell batteries (not included). This threaded base also houses a compartment that holds 5 additional lenses, suitable for different lighting conditions and usage: two red lenses for night vision, a blue, a white, and a diffuser lens to illuminate a greater area. A belt clip and a flip out metal loop to attach to a carabiner make it perfect for camping and all-around use. USA Made for the last 80 years.
