Vintage Brass Coursolle Sujet Knives
LIMITED QUANTITIES; MADE IN FRANCE
These Brass “Sujet” knives feature raised, low-relief figures on the scales, and have been around since the early 1900s. Traditionally known as Sujet Knives (French for “subject”), the motifs on the scales often depict sporting or outdoor scenes like hunting and fishing. We’ve discovered a batch of these in Thiers, France, (estimated at 70-80 years old) with the motif of a gymnast performing on one side and an athlete playing – we think – Netball on the reverse (similar to basketball, popular in Caribbean countries). These are very thin, making them easy to pocket as an everyday carry. The stainless steel blades are very sharp.
Quantities are limited.
