Pair of Strap Door Hinges (26 In. Long)

Designed by us based on 18th Century American hinges we found on an old barn. These hand-forged iron gate straps will give your home and garden a look that’s at once both traditional and unique. Everything you need is included for a straightforward installation. These will absolutely transform the appearance of a plain gate or door. Each is made individually and will show the marks of their makers. This gives each hinge a unique character and connection to the craft. Given their length and heft, they are incredibly strong. The sizable screw bolt will keep the door secured without sagging. We can easily picture these on a traditional European or American garden, Dutch door, or any other entryway. We have them available in two sizes. The larger measures 26” L x 2 ½” at the widest point, with a 6” long screw bolt. The smaller measures17” L x 1 ¼” at the widest point, with a 5 ½” long screw bolt.
